Daybook for cafes
The cafe food diary, on phones.
In a cafe the diary is shared between the counter and a small kitchen. Daybook keeps the two lists apart. Baristas see the front-of-house checks and the cake counter. The kitchen sees its own fridges and prep.

Why cafes use it
Made for the way you work.
Front of house, separate
The counter has its own equipment and its own list. Nobody scrolls past checks that aren’t theirs.
Cake counter covered
Deliveries, their temperature and rotation in and out of the fridge, with your own rules for how long cakes can be out.
Small team, clear names
Each barista signs with their own PIN, so the diary shows who did what.
Questions
Good to know.
We only have one fridge and a coffee machine. Is it worth it?
The owner can switch off any check you don’t need, so a small cafe sees a short list. The value is a dated, named record you don’t have to chase.
Can baristas use their own phones?
Yes, if they have an iPhone on iOS 26 or later. Each person signs in with the kitchen code and their own PIN.
